Spaces, a provider of coworking workspaces, has opened a new 2,300 sqm location at Bleicherweg 10 in downtown Zurich.

According to Spaces, its offering is aimed at "individual entrepreneurs, start-ups and employees of small and large companies from all sectors". "We are delighted to be able to offer our members such special spaces in the centre of Zurich," says Garry Gürtler, Managing Director of Spaces Switzerland. A total of 365 workstations are available on the first floor at Bleicherweg 10, around 200 metres from Paradeplatz.

With the concept, which originated in the trend metropolis of Amsterdam, the members benefit from the exchange of experience and knowledge among each other, says Gürtler. Users have the opportunity to build a network and meet like-minded people. The Spaces premises offer different environments for every requirement: for example, a quiet lounge area for undisturbed conversations and telephone calls, a large table for spreading out lots of documents or a cosy little corner to hatch new ideas and drive projects forward.

The owner of the property on Bleicherweg is PSP Swiss Property. "This new concept complements the tenant mix and creates synergies. We are confident that the surrounding area will also benefit from the new tenant," explains PSP CIO Adrian Murer. With the offices on Bleicherweg, Spaces is inaugurating its second location in Switzerland. The first location was opened this summer in Geneva. The contracts for 2,000 sqm of office space in Ambassador House in Zurich North have also already been signed.

Over the next three years, Spaces plans to expand its network in Switzerland to around ten locations, Gürtler announces.
