Intercity Verwaltungs-AG: Michael Wildhaber becomes new CEO

Michael Wildhaber will become the new CEO of Intercity Verwaltungs-AG, the management company of the Intercity Group, as of January 1, 2017. He succeeds Robert Hauri, who has led the division since 2014 and is moving to the Board of Directors.

In his new function, Michael Wildhaber will also be a member of the Group Management of the Intercity Group.

Robert Hauri remains co-owner and CEO of SPG Intercity Zurich AG as well as Deputy CEO of the Intercity Group. At the request of Herbert Wüst, majority shareholder and CEO of the Intercity Group, he will also become a delegate of the Board of Directors of Intercity Verwaltungs-AG and thus remain part of this management.

Accordingly, the Executive Board of Intercity Verwaltungs-AG now consists of Michael Wildhaber (CEO, new), Martin Meier (Deputy CEO, previous), Cornelia Hürlimann (Group CFO, previous) and Robert Hauri (Delegate of the Board of Directors of Intercity Verwaltungs-AG, previous).

In Michael Wildhaber, the company has found the ideal successor for Robert Hauri, writes Intercity Verwaltungs-AG in a statement: "The new CEO is a real estate manager with a federal diploma and a certified real estate trustee. He also holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Real Estate Management from the HWZ (EMREM) and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Among other things, Wildhaber worked for seven years in corporate real estate management at Zürcher Kantonalbank. For five years, he was co-owner and partner of a real estate management company. After selling the company shares to his business partner, he initially worked as a freelancer for Intercity Verwaltungs-AG in 2016. (ah)
