Swiss Estates AG: Marc Essig appointed new CFO
Marc Essig is the new CFO of Swiss Estates AG. His predecessor in this position, Joachim Schneebeli, takes on the role of COO.

Marc Essig took up his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Executive Board on December 4, 2017. The 50-year-old most recently worked for Swisscanto Fund Management and was CFO of Regimo Zurich from 2004 to 2016. Essig is Swiss and has a degree in business administration (university of applied sciences) as well as other qualifications, for example in IT and auditing. Joachim Schneebeli, who was previously CFO of Swiss Estates, has been appointed Chief Operations Officer (COO) by the Board of Directors.
Udo Rössig, CEO of Immobilien-AG, said that the addition of Essig was expected to improve the quality of all business activities and processes, particularly with regard to future acquisitions.
Swiss Estates AG invests in residential properties in urban areas in Switzerland, including the agglomerations of larger cities. Residential properties of 20 rental units or more are acquired on an opportunistic basis, held for the long term and developed further.
