Funds: Axa buys in Milan
Axa Investment Managers - Real Assets has purchased the Via Battistotti Sassi 11 office complex in Milan for €33.5 million. The purchase was made for an alternative investment real estate fund launched and managed by Axa REIM SGR.
Via Battistotti Sassi 11 consists of two building parts with a total of 31,000 sqm and a leasable area of 16,863 sqm as well as 237 parking spaces. The first floor comprises retail space, while the remainder is office space. The two buildings are currently 96 percent leased to twelve tenants.
Via Battistotti Sassi 11 is located in the east of Milan, the city center is 2.5 kilometers away and Linate Airport is 3.5 kilometers away. The property is well connected to public transport. In the surrounding area there are residential buildings, offices, retail, cultural and other public facilities.
Recently, Axa has just purchased the Torre Beta for the fund. (ah)
