LuzernPlus: Area manager Freyenmuth quits
Ueli Freyenmuth, area manager for LuzernNorth since 2013, is leaving LuzernPlus at the end of June this year. He will retire. Meanwhile, LuzernPlus is looking for a successor.

As area manager for LuzernNord, Ueli Freyenmuth has coordinated construction and mobility projects across municipalities for Emmen and the city of Lucerne on behalf of LuzernPlus over the past four years. During this time, the Canton of Lucerne has implemented the traffic and flood protection project Seetalplatz. In parallel, seven development plans for the building sites around Seetalplatz and in Reussbühl have been created.
Freyenmuth will leave LuzernPlus at the end of June 2018 and retire. LuzernPlus is now looking for a successor for the position; the mandate will be advertised. The area manager is tasked with networking the interests of the municipality of Emmen, the city of Lucerne, the canton, the transport association, the economic development agency and the landowners and site developers. The new area manager for Lucerne North should have experience in spatial and mobility planning and an interest in settlement development issues and site promotion, says Armin Camenzind, managing director of LucernePlus.
