Helvetica Swiss Commercial buys in Central Switzerland
The real estate fund Helvetica Swiss Commercial has acquired a retail park in central Switzerland as of February 1. SPG Intercity advised the seller.

The property is located in an established commercial area in central Switzerland with a very high visitor frequency, SPG Intercity says. The building is in mint condition and almost fully leased. The site is located directly on the highway. The real estate service provider did not disclose further details about the location.
The previous owner wanted to sell the shopping center and commissioned Cushman & Wakefield to do so. As their Swiss agent, SPG Intercity Zurich took the lead. In a closed sales process, the fund management company Helvetica Property Investors AG was found as buyer for the real estate fund it manages.
"With the acquisition of this longer-term leased retail center, we are strengthening the cash flow and distributive capacity of our HSC fund," says Frederic Königsegg, CIO and Head Investment Management at Helvetica Property Investors. "Modern retail space that offers high visibility and ample parking in close proximity to a highway will remain attractive in the future."
