Schroders appoints new Chief Operating Officer

Marcel Vogt is the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Schroders Switzerland. He joins from Credit Suisse, where he was Senior Project Manager responsible for fund projects.

Marcel Vogt will support Schroders' future operational growth in Switzerland as well as the expansion of the local investment teams, Schroders says. He will also head the Investment Controlling, Risk Management and Dealing Fixed Income divisions. His focus will be on the further development of the Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) business within the Schroders Group.

Vogt joined Schroders on April 3; he is based in Zurich and reports to Andreas Markwalder, Country Head Switzerland. Previously, he worked for Credit Suisse since 2014. Prior to that, he worked for more than ten years in various positions at Man Investments, most recently as Project and Business Change Manager.
