Zurich: Implenia builds high-rise for Swiss Life
Implenia has won the contract for a new high-rise building for Swiss Life in Zurich-Altstetten.
Implenia will act as general contractor for the construction of the new 25-story high-rise building, the company says. The contract is reportedly worth a total of around CHF 65 million.
The construction project comprises 161 residential units as well as commercial and office space and a two-story underground parking garage with 127 parking spaces. Among other things, this will house charging stations for electric vehicles. A photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof of the Minergie-P-Eco certified building. Construction is scheduled to begin this fall, with handover to the building owner planned for November 2021.
