Chur: Topping-out ceremony for Axa's Steinbock project
The topping-out ceremony for the Steinbock construction project was celebrated in Chur. Offices, retail space, restaurants and apartments are being built.

In total, at the train station in Chur, on the site of the former Globus department storeIn two buildings, the complex comprises around 6,000 sqm of retail space and around 1,500 sqm of office space, as well as 42 apartments and a parking garage with 71 parking spaces.
According to Axa, a good year before the planned occupation at the end of 2019, 70 percent of the office space and around 50 percent of the retail space have already been leased. A lease will be concluded shortly for the remaining space.
A market hall in the basement will be directly connected to the station passage. According to Axa, Coop, Valora, FOL Popcorn and Cafézeit will be among the tenants. The sales areas on the first floor will be occupied by cosmetics chain Rituals, Sostrene Grene, Gidor and Lush, as well as "other well-known brands," the statement continues.
The upper floors will be occupied by health and service businesses, such as a local ophthalmologist's practice, the Zahnarztzentrum.ch and Physiozentrum.ch. The office floor will be rented by the developer Axa and Giubbini Architekten, who designed the Ibex. The first leasing of the apartments is to start shortly.
Immoveris has been commissioned with the leasing of the retail, gastronomy, healthcare and service areas as well as with the initial letting of the apartments. As total contractor, Priora AG is realizing the two buildings of the Steinbock project. (ah)
