Zurich: Confiserie Bachmann opens on Bahnhofstrasse
Confiserie Bachmann from Lucerne will open a large branch at Bahnhofstrasse 89 in Zurich in mid-December - 610 square meters on three floors.
As Confiserie Bachmann announces on its website, confectionery products and baked goods will be sold on the first floor of the branch on Bahnhofstrasse. On the second floor, there will be a "Chocolate World" with a fresh chocolate buffet for self-service as well as a 20-square-meter chocolate wall and a chocolate staircase nearly six meters long. More than 2,400 liters of liquid chocolate will drip down the wall in a circuit, and more than 1,000 liters will flow down the chocolate staircase, according to Confiserie Bachmann.
From January, a café with 94 seats will also open on the second first floor. A skywalk will offer a "beautiful view over the Confiserie Bachmann flagship store," the statement continues.
The opening of the store had already been announced in September 2017. At the time, it was said that the store at Zurich's prime location would open in April or May 2018. (ah)
