With Aris Prepoudis (born 1969), an experienced personality takes over the office of Chairman of the Board of Directors, Fundamenta announces. Until mid-2018, Prepoudis, who holds a degree in business administration (HWV Basel), was CEO of RobecoSAM AG, a Zurich-based asset manager specializing in sustainable investments.

Previously, Prepoudis was CEO of Vescore AG in St. Gallen and a member of the Executive Board of Notenstein Privatbank, also in St. Gallen. From 2000 to 2013, he headed the institutional clients business for Bank Sarasin & Co. and was responsible for the Sarasin Investment Foundation as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. As full-time Chairman of the Board of Directors, Prepoudis will work with the Board of Directors, the country CEOs Daniel Kuster (Switzerland) and Christian Paul (Germany), and the managing partners to define and support the strategic direction of the Group.

Dr. Ivo Furrer, Dr. Christoph Zaborowski, Peter Barandun and Martin Brendel are newly elected to the Fundamenta Board of Directors. The current Chairman David Garcia remains a member of the Board of Directors.

"It is a matter of great concern to me to know that the company continues to have an excellent and sustainable orientation and to distribute the competences necessary for this with proven management personalities on even broader shoulders," David Garcia comments on the transfer of staff and reinforcement in the Board of Directors.

As a member of the Board of Directors, Garcia will in future concentrate more on special tasks and developments within the company. In the past three years, in addition to his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Garcia was responsible for the successful market entry and development of the organization in Germany.

Fundamenta Group further announces that founder and co-owner Javier Garcia will step down from the Board of Directors, but will maintain his participation in the company.

According to the information provided, Fundamenta Group intends to further expand its range of services and also diversify internationally. In the course of this targeted development, the range of real estate investment products and services for property owners is to be expanded. (bw)
