Thalwil: New luxury hotel on Lake Zurich

Campbell Gray Hotels has converted the former Hotel Alexander in Thalwil for its first project in this country. The Alex Lake Zurich will comprise 44 rooms and suites and is located directly on the shore of Lake Zurich.

According to various trade media, each room will have its own kitchen and be furnished in apartment style. All rooms and suites will have lake views and a terrace. The hotel will also include a wellness area with direct lake access with sauna, steam bath, pool, relaxation rooms and spa treatments. Guests will also have access to the hotel's own yacht. The heart of the hotel is to be the restaurant, which is open to the public, with a bar and terrace directly on the lake. (ah)
