Garaio establishes subsidiary for real estate business
The software company Garaio from Bern has founded the subsidiary Garaio REM AG, in which the Real Estate Management division will be bundled in the future.
Garaio develops software for e-business, collaboration and real estate management. However, market perception has repeatedly shown that e-business and collaboration solutions are only partially related to real estate software, the company says. Now the real estate business has been spun off into an independent company. The goal is to be able to focus more on the respective core business.
The reorganization is also accompanied by a change in management: David Brodbeck, former CEO of Garaio AG, will become the new CEO of Garaio REM and will be a member of the Garaio Board of Directors. He will be succeeded in the position of CEO by Martin Trachsel. Furthermore, the staff of the former product business will be completely transferred to the new company.
Garaio REM develops solutions for the management and administration of real estate. (ah)
