Helvetica Property Investors expands Board of Directors

Helvetica Property Investors AG strengthens its Board of Directors as of December 1 with Peter E. Bodmer as Vice Chairman and Thomas Huber and Herbert Kahlich as new members. Hans U. Keller remains Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Hans R. Holdener continues to serve as Director, CEO and Managing Partner of Helvetica.

Peter E. Bodmer (born 1964) is Chairman & CEO of the Beka Group. He gained his national and international experience in various companies and groups in the machinery, automotive supply, construction and real estate industries. In particular, he was a member of the Executive Board of Implenia and, as CEO of various Group divisions, was responsible for the strategic and operational realignment of the services division, the conception and implementation of the foreign strategy, the establishment and management of a joint venture in Russia, and major infrastructure projects. He currently holds various advisory positions and is a member of the Board of Directors of various companies such as Peach Property Group, Arbonia Forster Group, Brütsch/Rüegger Holding AG and Kuratle Group.

Thomas Huber (born 1963) worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for 23 years and has extensive experience in risk management and compliance. As a partner at PwC, Huber was responsible for the development and expansion of the Asset Management industry practice in Switzerland. From 2002 to 2012, he represented the interests of PwC Switzerland in the European Leadership Team of the consulting firm. Currently, Huber is active with several companies as an entrepreneur in the areas of consulting and fiduciary services as well as a board member for companies such as Fundbase Fund Services AG, Graubündner Kantonalbank or PMG Fonds Management AG.

Herbert Kahlich (born 1944) has over 20 years of international experience in the asset management industry. He currently advises various international finance companies and is on the board of directors of Swiss finance companies. For example, Kahlich is a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the asset management company FundStreet AG, where he is also responsible for real estate investments. Kahlich began his career at Credit Suisse, where he was a member of the executive board in the fund business for over ten years. He was responsible for the real estate fund business with seven funds in Switzerland and Germany, and later also for the international expansion of Credit Suisse's fund business in ten countries in Europe and Asia.

Helvetica Property Investors AG is a Real Estate Asset Advisor headquartered in Zurich. Helvetica covers the full range of real estate investment services, such as investment strategies, selection of investment properties, transaction structuring, acquisitions, financing, portfolio management and sales.
