CS 1a Immo PK invests in Renens
The real estate fund CS 1a Immo PK acquires two buildings in the Parc du Simplon in Renens (VD), a development site of the SBB.
Parc du Simplon is located directly at Renens train station (VD) and thus at an important transport hub in the Lausanne region. SBB Immobilien is developing 16 buildings here. Residential uses account for 35,000 of the total 60,000 square meters of floor space - a total of 270 apartments will be created. The remainder will be occupied by offices and retail space.
The real estate fund CS 1a Immo PK acquires the two office buildings Pléiades and Dufour with a total of 16,370 sqm. The office buildings were developed according to the Minergie-P® standard and provisionally pre-certified for the DGNB Silver seal of approval before construction began. According to a Credit Suisse statement, the buildings are expected to be ready for occupation in early 2021 and will then house, among other things, the new western Switzerland headquarters of SBB. A long-term lease agreement has been signed for this purpose.
The development was designed by the Lausanne-based architectural firm Ferrari Architectes; the general contractor is CSI Entreprise de construction. SBB is responsible for marketing and administration. (ah)
