Zug: Läderach opens in the Metalli
According to a media report, the chocolatier Läderach will open a branch in the Metalli in Zug in mid-August.
Läderach will move in where Bruno Iten's jewelry store was previously located, it says in the Lucerne newspaper. The branch will be the first in Zug and the fourth in Central Switzerland. In Lucerne, the chocolatier is represented with two branches, as well as in the Mall of Switzerland in Ebikon.
Läderach says it operates a total of around 60 chocolateries in Switzerland and Germany; it has sales partners in the Middle East and Asia.
A media officer at Läderach told the Luzerner Zeitung that a location in Zug had been in the planning for some time. However, it had always been clear that the company only wanted to move to the Metalli shopping mall in Zug; other locations had not been considered. (ah)
