St. Gallen: "Valhalla" renovation is completed
The refurbishment of the "Walhalla" commercial building in St. Gallen has been completed. Axa has invested around CHF 30 million in the refurbishment and expansion.
The renovation of the building at the St. Gallen train station took around a year, and the work is now complete. In the process, the "Valhalla" hotel in the building was also completely renovated and expanded. It now comprises 100 hotel rooms and large seminar rooms.
On the first floor, a space for gastronomy has been created, and in the southern part of the building there are practice rooms, which, according to Axa, have already been rented out.
Axa refurbished and extended the "Valhalla" on behalf of the Axa Investment Foundation; the measures cost over CHF 30 million. The work was carried out by Eiffage Suisse. The hotel is managed by Candrian Hotel AG. (ah)
