Swiss Life AM invests in Finland
Swiss Life AM has acquired an office property in Helsinki for the open-ended mutual fund Swiss Life Living + Working.

The office property is located in Helsinki's Pohjois-Haaga district, was built in 2015 and has been awarded a LEED Platinum certificate. The property comprises seven upper floors and a basement. It has a leasable area of approximately 4,500 sqm; in addition, there are 122 parking spaces. The main tenants are Kone Hissit, Proact Finland and Lease Green. The average remaining lease term is around five years, according to Swiss Life AM.
The properties were purchased for the Swiss Life Living + Working fund. The investment volume amounts to 19 million euros. The fund is investing in Finland for the first time, making it the fifth European country to do so. Previously, the fund had acquired properties in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Two years after the start of sales, the fund's assets stand at around 522 million euros. (ah)
