Zurich: MSD and Itelligence rent in The Circle
Pharmaceutical company MSD plans to open an office for 250 employees in The Circle at Zurich Airport, and Itelligence AG is relocating its headquarters to the major project.

MSD (Merck Sharp & Dohme) will occupy approximately 4,300 square meters in The Circle. By the time the site is completed and opened in 2021, more than 250 MSD employees will be working there. The choice was made because of the community spirit and the expected synergies with the other tenants, Zurich Airport says.
In addition, the SAP consulting company Itelligence with 140 employees will relocate its Swiss headquarters to The Circle. The mix of ultra-modern offices, very good meeting and conference facilities, and the excellent location with optimum transport links was convincing, says Claude Flükiger, Managing Director of Itelligence Switzerland, quoted in the airport's statement. The proximity to SAP, which will also move into the large-scale project, was also an important decision criterion.
The Circle is scheduled to open in stages from September this year. Flughafen Zürich AG and Swiss Life form a co-ownership community, with the airport holding 51% and Swiss Life 49%. (ah)
