Decathlon cooperates with Fnac Switzerland

The sporting goods retailer Decathlon wants to sell its products via third-party providers in the future. A first partner has been found in Fnac Switzerland.

According to Decathlon, articles from the "slow mobility" range will in future be offered in Fnac stores in French-speaking Switzerland. This is the first phase of the new strategy. The company is aiming for numerous partnerships in the Swiss market. According to the statement, the introduction of Decathlon Corners in potential partner stores or the development of franchise stores are also part of this strategy.

Decathlon currently reaches around 20% of the population with its 23 stores in Switzerland, according to its own figures. Internationally, the company operates more than 1,650 sales outlets, employs more than 92,000 people, and most recently generated sales of over 12.4 billion euros. (ah)
