The Circle: Offices almost fully let
In just a few weeks, the supply of office space in The Circle has become severely limited: With the conclusion of a lease agreement with Unispace Switzerland, only just under 10,000 sqm of the approximately 70,000 sqm of office space is now available.
A further milestone has been reached in the marketing of The Circle at Zürich Airport. With the leasing of a further approx. 600 sqm of office space to Unispace Switzerland, only just under 10,000 sqm of the approx. 70,000 sqm are now available - starting with units of 300 sqm. Unispace Switzerland is part of Unispace Global, a company specializing in workplace design with locations in 25 countries worldwide.
According to SPG Intercity AG, which is active on the side of the landlords - a co-ownership consisting of Zurich Airport and Swiss Life - The Circle has also convinced Unispace Switzerland with its forward-looking concept and the synergies that arise at this new location. "The Circle's office campus offers the ideal environment for highly innovative, agile companies in growth industries," says Gabriela Brandenberg, Head Office and Retail at SPG Intercity Zurich.
In addition to the recently communicated deal with MSD (approx. 2,800 sqm) and this lease to Unispace, there have been two other significant deals in recent weeks. For example, SPG Intercity Zurich was involved in the conclusion of a contract with another international IT company that is relocating its Swiss headquarters to the Circle.
The software group leases around 1,800 sqm of office space. In addition, SPG Intercity Zurich was jointly responsible for the brokerage of 5,000 sqm to a global pharmaceutical company. After MSD, a second pharmaceutical industry leader was thus acquired for the Circle.
"The Circle is now definitely the IT and pharma hub in the greater Zurich area. We are very pleased to have been involved in four deals in this mandate within just a few weeks," says Robert Hauri, CEO and co-owner of SPG Intercity.
