Implenia: Hans-Ulrich Meister to become Chairman of the Board of Directors
A few days after the resignation of Implenia's Chairman Hubert Achermann, the construction group presents a successor. The Board of Directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting the election of Hans-Ulrich Meister as new member and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
For many years, Hans-Ulrich Meister headed two major Swiss banks, UBS and Credit Suisse. At the latter, he was CEO of Credit Suisse Switzerland and Head of the globally active Private Banking & Wealth Management division. In these functions, Meister was a member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse Group AG and Credit Suisse AG.
The Implenia Board of Directors says it is "extremely pleased" that in Hans-Ulrich Meister "a proven and dynamic management personality could be won as a candidate".
The Annual General Meeting of Implenia AG will be held on March 22, 2016, when Meister is to be elected. Until then, Henner Mahlstedt will chair the Board of Directors ad interim. (ah)
