Start of construction for Alto Pont-Rouge in Geneva
In Geneva, construction has started on the Alto Pont-Rouge project. Swiss Prime Site is realizing a commercial property with 28,000 sqm of floor space; the total contractor is Implenia.
The Alto Pont-Rouge development is currently one of Swiss Prime Site's largest development projects. An office building with 15 upper floors and three levels of underground parking is being built on site B3 of the new quarter at the Lancy-Pont-Rouge train station; smaller areas for grocery stores and restaurants are also planned.
Implenia has been commissioned as the total contractor; the lot has a contract volume of around CHF 132 million. Implenia has already completed three buildings in the new quarter on plots B1, B4 and B5 as total contractor.
Alto Pont-Rouge was designed Brodbeck Roulet Architectes Associés and is expected to be certified at least SNBS Gold. Completion of construction is scheduled for June 2023. (ah)
