SF Commercial Properties Fund reduces vacancies

The SF Commercial Properties Fund has sold a vacant property in Frenkendorf (BL) and let further space.

According to a statement by Swiss Finance & Property Funds AG, the vacant property in Frenkendorf (BL) has been sold to a logistics company that intends to use the space for its own operations. The sales price was CHF 6.5 million, and the market value of the property is CHF 6.65 million. As a result of the sale of this property, the total vacancy rate of the SF Commercial Properties Fund has fallen significantly from 19.6% to 16.1%.

Furthermore, despite the Corona pandemic, the fund was able to let or re-let over 6,200 sqm of space: Among others, a factory building in Bubendorf, offices in Spreitenbach and offices and storage space in Aclens. In Dietikon, office space of around 1,300 sqm was let.

There will be a change in the fund's portfolio management: as of 1 December 2020, Hans-Peter Wasser will take over this position from Kai Brunko, who has managed the SF Commercial Properties Fund for the past three and a half years. Wasser has many years of experience in the management of direct real estate investments and has held key management positions at various real estate companies, such as Halter Immobilien AG. (ah)
