Newhome appoints Roman Timm as Co-CEO
The real estate portal Newhome is expanding its management team. Since the beginning of the year, Jean-Pierre Valenghi has been managing the business together with the new Co-CEO Dr. Roman Timm.
According to the board of directors of Newhome AG, the new co-CEO model is intended to further advance the strategic realignment of the portal. Since the repositioning launched in autumn 2019, the company has gained around 500 shareholders and launched the real estate portal in a new design, among other things, says Newhome.
Dr. Roman Timm has already advised the company on the development of the new strategy. He has worked as an independent entrepreneur and management consultant in the finance and technology sector since 2012 and was also a member of the Board of Directors and partner of Dufour Capital AG.
Newhome emerged in 2013 from the individual real estate marketplaces of various cantonal banks. At the end of September 2019, Newhome.ch AG expanded its shareholder base and opened up to other players in the real estate market. (ah)
