CSL Immobilien: New major mandate
CSL Immobilien enters into a new partnership with Credit Suisse Asset Management and takes over the management of a larger real estate portfolio in the city of Zurich - with a focus on data-driven property management.

CSL Immobilien will take over a larger real estate portfolio in the city of Zurich as of January 1, 2022. This involves a large part of the properties of the real estate funds and investment groups in the city of Zurich, which are managed by Credit Suisse Asset Management.
According to the real estate service provider, it is intended to take over further portfolios in other regions of Switzerland in 2023 and 2024. CSL Immobilien will take on a comprehensive range of tasks, from tenant support and marketing to monitoring the building fabric, budgeting at property level, planning and controlling refurbishment projects, and leading facility management.
Credit Suisse Asset Management's collaboration with CSL is based on "an integrated approach that aims to achieve a high level of tenant satisfaction, stable cash flow and a sustainable increase in the value of the properties throughout their entire life cycle," it adds. A key component is a new integrated IT platform that links all areas of real estate asset management and property management. This data-driven property management of the future also brings advantages for the tenants of the properties, as personal support in all phases of the rental relationship can be made more efficient and customer-friendly with the new approach.
Doubling the number of employees
According to the information, CSL Immobilien will build up a tailor-made organization for the mandate, including marketing and construction experts in addition to management specialists. As part of this strategic growth step, the number of employees will double to around 100 specialists.
"CSL Immobilien is excited about the opportunity to take real estate management to the next level together with Credit Suisse Asset Management - with an integrated approach and digital infrastructure. The partnership and the new mandate are an important step for CSL Immobilien on our growth path," says Yonas Mulugeta, CEO of CSL Immobilien, about the new cooperation. (bw)
