Pratteln: New conference centre opened
In the Haus der Wirtschaft in Pratteln (BL), the TEC conference and event center with an area of 2,000 sqm has started operations.
The TEC conference and event center, which has been welcoming guests since April 26, 2021, comprises 13 event rooms ranging in size from 15 sqm to 430 sqm. Twelve rooms are available on the second floor: ten individually furnished theme rooms for creative meetings with four to six people, a classic boardroom for board meetings, and a conference room with space for 100 people.
The heart of the TEC is the auditorium for up to 300 people on the first floor with an eleven-meter-wide and 3.5-meter-high LED wall and a control room for optimal acoustics and lighting. Furthermore, the conference center has two outdoor areas - an "Inspiration Terrace" and an "Impulse Lounge" - as well as an in-house restaurant. The infrastructure can be booked online by the hour or for a half or full day.
The TEC in the Haus der Wirtschaft is easily accessible by public transport as well as by car: It is a three-minute walk from Pratteln train station, and for guests arriving by car, 200 parking spaces are available in the building's own parking garage. Currently, a 300 sqm coworking space is being planned in the Haus der Wirtschaft. (ah)
