Froriep and Meyerlustenberger Lachenal merge
The commercial law firms Froriep and Meyerlustenberger Lachenal are merging as of July 1. Both firms are known for their real estate business law advice.

The merger of the respected law firms Meyerlustenberger Lachenal and Froriep creates a new business law firm with a total of 155 lawyers, spread across offices in Zurich, Geneva, Lausanne and Zug, as well as London and Madrid.
The newly formed firm will be active in traditional commercial law areas such as mergers & acquisitions, finance, dispute resolution and intellectual property, as well as in the life sciences, telecommunications, financial services, real estate and retail & luxury sectors. Further focus will be on innovative areas such as Fintech, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence.
The firm will be led by a seven-member executive board, headed by co-managing partners Jean Marguerat and Dr. Michael Ritscher. The management board is balanced with members from both law firms as well as from the German- and French-speaking regions of Switzerland, Froriep and Meyerlustenberger Lachenal announced. (ah)
