900 new apartments for students at Hönggerberg

At the Hönggerberg site, around 900 ETH Zurich students will be able to move into a new home in the immediate vicinity of lecture halls and laboratories at the start of the semester in September 2016. Luzerner Pensionskasse and Swiss Life have built two new buildings in the southwest of the campus under building rights.

The Luzerner Pensionskasse's HWW residential property consists of a six-story and a seven-story residential building with 404 student rooms and 23 studios intended for commercial use. To date, tenants include a hair salon and catering business, an architect/film producer and an artist. The student rooms are single studios and 2-person and 6-person shared apartments, with each room having its own bathroom. The property is certified with the Minergie P-Eco label.
