"Zopf & Zöpfli" opens in Bern at the end of September
"Zopf & Zöpfli" is the name of a new retail concept that Betty Bossi has developed together with Marché Restaurants Schweiz AG. It will be launched for the first time at Bern railroad station at the end of September.
According to the companies, both of which are wholly owned Coop subsidiaries, the plan is for a "concept for fast food at well-frequented locations." The new "Zopf & Zöpfli" stores will primarily present products and recipes from the Betty Bossi world. The focus will be on freshly baked Zopfbrot in different sizes and variations. Marché Restaurants Schweiz AG is responsible for the operational management of the business unit.
The range will be supplemented with salads, muesli and drinks. The first "Zopf & Zöpfli" store will be located in the pedestrian underpass in the SBB train station in the national capital of Bern from the end of September 2016. Further openings are to follow. (mr)
