Dufry and Zurich Airport extend partnership until 2028

Duty free provider Dufry AG and Flughafen Zürich AG have extended their contract ahead of schedule (from 2018) until 2028.

The new contract covers all duty-free areas at Zurich Airport. It also includes "an improvement in the key financial figures for Flughafen Zürich AG as well as a long-term strategic location safeguard for Dufry AG at Zurich Airport," according to a media release. Over the next two years, Dufry AG will redesign all duty-free locations at the airport, introducing a new store concept with "international brands as well as a Swiss identity".

In addition, Dufry AG will be the anchor tenant for the "Brands & Dialogue" module on an area of 5,000 square meters in the new service center The Circle at Zurich Airport. (mr)
