The expiry of the long-standing rental agreement with the traditional toy store Franz Carl Weber prompted the Gaydoul Group to review its real estate portfolio and the decision was made to sell the property, the company writes in a press release.

Gaydoul wanted to divide the multi-storey store into two to three stores and has already drawn up a corresponding conversion project, which has already been approved. Swiss Life now wants to implement this. Construction work is due to start at the beginning of 2017.

The rental agreement with Franz Carl Weber runs until the end of the year; the new location of the specialist toy store will open on Bahnhofplatz in January 2017. (ah)
