Lucerne: New owner for the Gotthard House
The Gotthardhaus on Bahnhofplatz in Lucerne has been auctioned off for CHF 36.5 million. The new owner is K-Real Four AG.
In a voluntary public auction, the Gotthardhaus at Bahnhofplatz 3 has found a new owner. K-Real Four AG outbid the minimum bid, which was CHF 26 million, by more than CHF 10 million and is now paying CHF 36.5 million for the office building in the immediate vicinity of Lake Lucerne.
The property area is 340 sqm and the leasable area is 1,706 sqm. The property is fully leased, among others to the Bildungszentrum Luzern (BZLU) and UBS. Rental income amounts to CHF 703,710 per year, and the average remaining term of the leases is 3.5 years.
CBRE was the transaction advisor appointed by the Gotthardhaus co-owners' association (MEG); the auction was conducted by the partition office of the City of Lucerne. (ah)
