Zurich: Laying of the foundation stone on Labitzke site
On September 6, the foundation stone was laid for the new residential development on the Labitzke site in Zurich. Mobimo is the owner of the large-scale project with an investment volume of CHF 90 million, while Implenia is acting as total contractor.

On the 10,000 square meter site between Albulastrasse and Hohlstrasse, eight buildings - including two high-rises of 47 and 64 meters - with a total of 277 apartments are being built according to plans by Zurich architects Gigon/Guyer.
Christoph Caviezel, CEO of Mobimo, is convinced that the dense Labitzke development, with its residential and commercial spaces and seven publicly accessible open spaces, will shape the rapidly changing Letzigrund district.
According to Implenia, construction work is progressing well and the project is on schedule. The first apartments are expected to be ready for occupation in mid-2018. (ah)
