Schenk SA wants to realize a big project in Rolle at Lake Geneva. On the northern parcel of the property, a winery is planned, which is likely to become one of the largest in Switzerland. The construction is to start in April, 2022; in autumn, 2024, Schenk wants to process the first wine harvest in the new facility. Meanwhile, a mixed-use neighborhood is planned for the south parcel. This will comprise about 300 residential units, business and commercial areas, offices as well as public facilities. The construction is to start at the end of 2024.

Schenk Holding selected Halter as the development and implementation partner for the project. According to Schenk, the company was convincing on the one hand because of its know-how and reliability, and on the other hand because of its cooperation with three long-term investors: Helvetia Versicherungen AG, Raiffeisen Pensionskasse and Previs Vorsorge. These financing partners would ensure that the high quality standards and sustainable orientation of the innovative quarter could be realized. (ah)
