The purchase of the warehouse and logistics property in Meyrin marks the market entry of the Deka-Immobilien Global open-ended mutual fund in Switzerland. The property is the new EK 2 building, which was completed this year. The seller is CP Kammacher, a subsidiary of Compagnie des Parcs, which was advised by CBRE.

The building was developed as a multi-storey warehouse and logistics property with six entrances for several tenants and is divided into a basement, a mezzanine floor and three upper floors, according to Deka Immobilien. Logistical access is provided via twelve standard loading docks and two high-security docks. In total, the new building has a lettable area of around 18,000 sqm and 128 parking spaces. The property is leased long-term and almost completely to 14 users from various industries. The building is to be certified according to Minergie. (ah)
