AFIAA leases Munich office property to E.on
The AFIAA Investment Foundation for Real Estate Investments Abroad has concluded a long-term lease agreement with the energy group E.on for the entire "Campus Bravo" at Georg-Brauchle-Ring 52/54 in Munich.

The "Campus Bravo" is located near the Olympic Park and comprises around 9,000 sqm of total space. Of this, around 8,500 sqm is office space and around 500 sqm is archive space. The property also includes 88 underground parking spaces. There are several shopping centers in the immediate vicinity of "Campus Bravo", and the location is well connected to public transport via a subway station two minutes' walk away.
Certified as a Green Building, the eight-story property was built in 2005 to designs by Düsseldorf-based Ingenhoven Architects. The building has been awarded the BREEAM seal, grade "Very Good".
BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as lead broker for AFIAA and also advised on the tenant side.
Frankfurt office towers also almost fully let
AFIAA has also concluded a major lease in Frankfurt. The investment foundation has leased around 800 sqm of office space in its "Romeo & Julia" office towers to the international auditing firm Warth & Klein Grant Thornton. This means that the 14,300 sqm of office space at Ulmenstrasse 37-39 in Frankfurt's Westend district is almost fully leased.
Cushman & Wakefield advised and brokered the lease for the tenant, and CBRE acted as lead broker for AFIAA on the landlord side.
Built in 1972, the pair of 20-story high-rises was completely revitalized in 2007-2009 according to the plans of architect Max Dudler. The building has been awarded the BREEAM seal, grade "Excellent", and has received the TÜV certificate on the sustainable operation of real estate. The property has 130 parking spaces in its own underground garage and 20 outside parking spaces.
In the immediate vicinity of the office towers are numerous restaurants and leisure facilities as well as stores for everyday needs. The property has very good public transport connections thanks to two nearby subway stations and an S-Bahn station. In addition, the Alte Oper, Goethestrasse, Fressgass and Frankfurt's Zeil shopping mile are all within a few minutes' walk.
AFIAA plans to further expand its real estate portfolio and, according to its own statements, is already in negotiations to acquire additional properties, among others in Munich and Frankfurt. (ah)
