SPA Immobilien Schweiz lowers vacancy rate to record low
The SPA Immobilien Schweiz investment group of Swiss Prime Investment Foundation reports a vacancy rate of 2.69% for the first quarter. According to the SPA, this is the lowest level since its foundation.
According to the Swiss Prime Investment Foundation (SPA), the SPA Real Estate Switzerland investment group closed the first quarter of 2022 with a cumulative investment return of 0.96%. Thanks to transactions and project investments, the fair value of the real estate portfolio increased to almost CHF 3.1 billion. The vacancy rate of 2.69% at the end of March was the lowest level since the establishment of the investment foundation, SPA said.
The investment foundation also reports that the acquisition pipeline was greatly expanded in the first quarter and that exclusivity has been agreed for several large projects with a volume of over CHF 100 million in the major agglomerations of Zurich and Geneva. (ah)
