Capital increase of CSA Real Estate Switzerland was twice oversubscribed
Credit Suisse Investment Foundation is experiencing high demand for its real estate investment groups CSA Real Estate Switzerland and CSA Real Estate Switzerland Commercial.

The capital increase of the CSA Real Estate Switzerland investment group was announced in February; it has a volume of CHF 350 million. The issue was reserved for existing investors in the investment group and was limited to a maximum subscription volume of CHF 20 million per investor, according to Credit Suisse Investment Foundation (CSA). Nevertheless, demand was very high - the capital increase was twice oversubscribed, according to CSA. The investment group intends to use the fresh money to reduce its leverage ratio and finance ongoing new construction projects as well as investments in its portfolio.
The CSA Real Estate Switzerland Commercial investment group has been open since April 25 for an investment volume of CHF 250 million and has received subscriptions of CHF 200 million so far, according to CSA. The money is to be used primarily for the purchase of an already secured portfolio. Until the target volume is reached, the investment group will remain open. (ah)
