As Loeb AG writes in a media release, it intends to focus on its downtown sales businesses in the future. Loeb has operated the store in Shoppyland since the shopping center was founded in the 1970s. After several months of renovation, Loeb opened in 2007 in a smaller space at a new location on the first floor with an adapted concept that focused on the fashion and accessories product ranges.

In addition to the branch in Schönbühl, Loeb today operates three department stores in Bern, Biel and Thun, six MAGGS and eight brand stores in German- and French-speaking Swiss cities, and an outlet store in Bern. (ah)
