The Bernische Pensionskasse is investing in a new, car-free residential quarter in Oberentfelden (AG). With the Golf Park Aarau West project, five structures with a total of over 220 residential units are being built on the site of the former Tennis-Aarau-West sports center. Apartments are planned for single people, couples, families and older people.

The northern section of the development stands parallel to Muhenstrasse and creates a strong presence at the entrance to the village, as the responsible architectural firm Husistein & Partner explains. The shorter southern structure is set back more from the road. Within the site, there is a central courtyard and two other decentralized open spaces with play and meeting areas.

The project will create new living space for more than 500 people in the municipality of Oberentfelden, which has a population of 8,700. Demolition work has begun and will last until February 2023. (ah)
