Fonds Immobilier Romand reaches the 1.5 billion threshold

The real estate fund FIR has increased in the last fiscal year (reporting date: June 30) the fund assets by 9% and thus just exceeded the threshold of 1.5 billion CHF.

The number of properties increased from 147 to 149, and the number of apartments from 4,044 to 4,113. The fund, which invests exclusively in western Switzerland, increased net income from CHF 34.67 million to CHF 36.79 million, while rental income rose byTP2T 2.11 to around CHF 75 million.

The last capital increase took place in November 2021 and raised CHF 63 million. The proceeds were used in particular to finance a project with 96 energy-efficient apartments in Echallens (VD).

The fund invests primarily in the Lake Geneva region. The portfolio consists mainly of residential properties. The fund is managed by GEP SA of Lausanne. (aw)
