CS REF Siat builds residential quarter in Dübendorf
Construction work on the first stage of the "Im Giessen" residential quarter in Dübendorf is scheduled to start at the beginning of September 2016. The client is the Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund Siat (CS REF Siat). The project was developed by Implenia, which is now also realizing it as a total contractor.

The new quarter is being built in three stages on a 25,700 square meter industrial site that is no longer needed. The first stage with the development work of the legally approved "Giessenhof" has already begun. The structural engineering work for a five-story perimeter block development will start in September 2016. The "Giessenhof" should be ready for occupancy in the fall of 2018.
Together with the "Giessenturm," an 85-meter-high high-rise that will be built in a second phase, around 300 rental apartments in various price segments, a nursing home and a small amount of commercial space will be created. According to Credit Suisse, different types of apartments will ensure a good mix and sustainable development of the neighborhood.
The developer plans to submit the building application for the second stage to the relevant authorities in the next few months, and construction work is expected to last from mid-2017 to the end of 2019.
Three further planned buildings form the third and final planning stage on the site, they are to be realized from 2019.
