The new organization takes into account the growth of recent years, Assetimmo says. Since its founding in 2000, the company has grown from a managed property volume of CHF 594 million to around CHF 2.9 billion today. The new organization is particularly necessary in order to be able to adequately address issues such as sustainability or digitalization.

As of April 1, 2023, Christian Felker will take over as portfolio manager of both investment groups Residential and Business. He is a Certified Real Estate Investment Analyst and has worked in real estate since 2010, most recently as Portfolio and Risk Manager at Allianz Suisse Immobilien AG. Felker will work with three asset managers who operate at the property level. These are Markus Berchtold, who has been with Assetimmo since 2011 and has so far mainly managed residential properties in western Switzerland, Patrick Apelt, who will join Assetimmo on April 1, succeeding Mark Plüss, and Tommaso Maturo, who was most recently asset manager at er Hiag and will succeed Nuri Salihi in June.

Andrea Claasen becomes property trustee

In addition, Assetimmo announces that Andrea Claasen will assume the role of construction manager on June 1. She has been a construction manager since 2018 and was most recently head of planning and a member of the management team.

Roman Cavegn new Head of Finance

Finally, Thomas Brodmann, who has been Head of Finance for many years, is leaving Assetimmo at the end of July.
