Kreuzlingen: Start of construction for residential project in the city center
Three apartment buildings are being built next to Villa Windegg in the center of Kreuzlingen. Construction started a few days ago.
The center of Kreuzlingen is being further densified. Construction has just started on the Windegg residential park, which is being built on the corner of Sonnenstrasse and Schützenstrasse near the Karussell shopping center. The project comprises 26 rental apartments (2.5 to 4.5 rooms), distributed over three structures. In addition, there is an underground garage with charging facilities for e-vehicles and a bicycle storage room. The historic Villa Windegg is located directly next to the new buildings and will be preserved.
The client is the Heusser couple from Herrliberg, who also own Villa Windegg. Klein + Müller from Kreuzlingen is responsible for architecture and construction management. Completion of the Windegg residential park is scheduled for fall 2024 or spring 2025. (ah)
