Implenia completes Wincasa acquisition
The real estate service provider Wincasa is now part of Implenia. The acquisition has been closed, and there were no conditions imposed by the Competition Commission.

Swiss Prime Site has completed the sale of its group company Wincasa to Implenia. The approval of the Competition Commission was granted without any conditions, the real estate group announced. Implenia and Swiss Prime Site signed the purchase agreement for the acquisition of Wincasa on March 29.
The Wincasa brand will continue to exist: The company will be managed as a legally and operationally independent unit within the Buildings Division, Implenia says. Wincasa employs 1,350 people at 33 locations throughout Switzerland. The service provider manages more than 250,000 properties and holds CHF 81 billion in assets under management.
According to Implenia, the acquisition is expected to generate additional recurring revenues and higher-margin business. This is expected to lead to an increase in earnings per share (EPS) before synergy potential already from the first full financial year. Revenue synergies could come, for example, from consulting, construction and modernization projects and from additional property management mandates within the Group. (ah)
