Crissier: Citizens reject "En Chise" project
The utilization plan for the "En Chise" project was rejected in a referendum in Crissier (VD). Patrimonium Asset Management planned to build 300 apartments and 10,000 square meters of commercial space there.
In the vote on June 18, 53.9% of citizens voted No. According to a press release, Patrimonium regrets the rejection of the utilization plan. It will now "take time to reflect on the steps that will follow this result."
The result shows "how difficult it is to implement principles that were largely accepted at the ballot box (Spatial Planning Act) into local reality when vested interests ally themselves with rigorous positions", writes Patrimonium.
