UBS: European fund buys logistics property in Germany

The project developer Panattoni has handed over a logistics property in the Rhine-Neckar region in Germany to a UBS fund.

Owner of the "Panattoni Park" in Bensheim, Hesse, is now the UBS (D) Euroinvest Immobilien, a pan-European open-ended mutual fund for private investors with a focus on core properties in major European cities. UBS manages the fund from Munich. The property comprises 9,300 square meters of warehouse space, 570 square meters of office and social space and 510 square meters of mezzanine space.

The property was developed by logistics real estate specialist Panattoni on a 30,000 square meter site in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. The property was opened in mid-May. The tenant is the pharmaceutical service provider MSK Pharmalogistic GmbH. The property is certified in accordance with the DGNB Gold Standard, a sustainability seal of the German Sustainable Building Council. (aw)
