Winterthur: Another building block of Lokstadt is completed
The modernization of the Draisine hall in Winterthur's Lokstadt has been completed. The building has been handed over to the future tenants.
Ina Invest's Lokstadt project in Winterthur is making further progress. As Implenia announced on the Linkedin business network, the Draisine modernization project has been completed and handed over to the future tenants. The main tenant of the 1,650 square meter listed building is the City of Winterthur with the Office for School Buildings. From the 2023/24 school year, two kindergarten and two lower school classes, among others, will be taught in the Draisine.
Implenia was commissioned to develop and renovate the hall in the former Schweizerische Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik in Winterthur as a total contractor and with its own master builder and timber construction for the owner, Ina Invest. Implenia also undertook the tenant fit-out for the city of Winterthur. The construction period lasted from April 2022 to July 2023. (ah)
