Savills IM: New Head of BD for the DACH region
Savills Investment Management (Savills IM) has appointed Rena Knöpke as Head of Business Development for German-speaking countries in Europe.
Rena Knöpke has worked in investment management for more than 16 years. Before joining Savills IM, Knöpke worked for Corpus Sireo Real Estate as Director National Institutions. Prior to that, she worked for 15 years for Warburg - HIH Invest Real Estate and Henderson Global Investors in Hamburg, Frankfurt and London as Director of Institutional Business and Head of Marketing, Client Services & Distribution. In her various positions, she was responsible for the support of existing investors and marketing activities of the companies and raised capital for funds and projects.
Knöpke will work from Hamburg and report directly to Justin O'Connor, Chief Executive Officer of Savills IM. Her main focus will be to develop relationships with institutional investors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and to raise capital for new funds.
Savills IM in Europe currently employs more than 250 people and manages real estate assets of around 14 billion euros (CHF 15 billion). (ah)
